The blue color on top of the partitions also changed to a yellow/brownish color. My guess is that they have been converted to a Simple Volume instead of a Basic Volume, so that a partition could be spread out on both sides of another partition.

Disk management gives me no options for it, and 3rd party programs such as MiniTool Partition only lets me create a volume with it, but gives no options to set up.

Windows assigns drive letters to all Primary partitions first and then goes back and assigns letters to any Logical partitions. So if you add in another HDD, be aware that the Logical partition's drive letter might change.
