What is the subtext here? 31 Aug 2021 · FWIW, I learned "I look forward to hearing from you" or "I look forward to your response" as the proper close to a letter that doesn't require a gratitude expression in etiquette class when I was about seven. Before the internet. What's old frequently becomes new again; I wouldn't read anything into it.
"Looking forward to your feedback" -> Is this "bad English"? : r ... In a more formal letter, I would suggest something like "I look forward to hearing from you," which i think is better in that context because: (i) it is a complete sentence (unlike "looking forward to your feedback"); (ii) it avoids the jargony "feedback"; and (iii) it avoids the contraction "I'm".
