SUVAT equations?! - The Student Room Sure (kinda posted a little in the above few posts) - it's just when I'm trying to calculate acceleration using suvat it doesn't work. I thought I'd use 3 suvat equations just to check my acceleration is the same with each...but they give different answers :/ s = 0.018m (in which car goes from velocity u to velocity v)
When do you use SUVAT and when do you use the simple The SUVAT equations only apply in situations where you have a body moving in a straight line with uniform acceleration or deceleration. To find the correct equation to use in a given situation, write out s = ?, u = ?, v = ?, a = ?, t = ?, replacing ? with the given values. Assuming that you know the SUVAT equations, then choose the appropriate equation in order to find the missing …
How are the SUVAT equations derived? - Physics Stack Exchange 16 Sep 2020 · So instead of simply memorizing the SUVAT equations, I wanted to find out how the equations are derived to broaden my knowledge. I'm currently a high school student who is completing university-level mathematics and somehow ended up doing questions on SUVAT and constant accelerations (haha).

SUVAT Equations for Non-Constant Acceleration - The Student … Which SUVAT equations continue to apply in some form or other for non-constant acceleration? And how do I modify them to reach expressions for non-constant acceleration (where a is a function of t)? e.g. v=u+at modified a=6t2+13t-7.
newtonian mechanics - How can the SUVAT equations be … 8 Mar 2021 · I would argue that the SUVAT equations, which correctly describe all constant-acceleration motion (including hypothetical situations governed by unusual laws of dynamics), cannot possibly be derive...
acceleration - Does the SUVAT equations of motion (Kinematics) … 10 Jan 2021 · Solving the differential equation will lead to a general solution with arbitrary constants, the arbitrariness corresponding to a family of solutions. A particular solution can be obtained by setting the initial values, which fixes the values of the constants." So, does the SUVAT equations of motion come from some differential equation?
