Meta-analysis -> "analysis of analysIs" OR "analysis of analysEs" 10 Sep 2018 · It's an analysis of other analyses, rather than an analysis of a method of analysis, so I'd use plural. It's the only such term I can think of where the underlying noun is (commonly) countable (metamathematics and meta-logic aren't either), but why shouldn't it be countable/plural?
